Firstly, thanks for your support. We were overwhelmed by the response and are really looking forward to getting the music James was working out into the world. There’s lots of great material for the new album. We found a list of tracks in one of James’ notepads which look like the ones that were destined to go on it. It’s taken quite a lot of detective work to find where all the tracks live – some had been spawned from others and were hidden amongst the file structure. Others were lengthy and rambling and needed some serious arranging. Some are just parts of songs. There’s also many versions of some of the songs as they have been added to over the years! Simon has been tidying up some of the more complete tracks and I’ll be going down to the studio for a couple of days so after this week, we should have a better idea of what else needs to be done.
In other news, we’re doing some hard copies of James’ first album “Tranquilo, Tigre”. They are on sale for £10 + P&P with the proceeds going back into projects to inspire young songwriters. If you would like a copy of the CD, email me here: firstname.lastname@example.org or purchase from bandcamp here . Alternatively, if you live in Wheatley, I’ll leave some with mum and dad so you can pick one up directly.
